Burger King Is Testing Out The Meatless Impossible Whopper

Burger King confused everyone yesterday by announcing the "Meatless Impossible Whopper," and no, it wasn't an April Fools Day hoax, it's legit.

The Impossible Whopper is a plant based version of their signature "Whopper" sandwich that is supposed to taste exactly like the original. Burger King chief marketing officer Fernando Machado is going as far to claim customers and employees can’t tell the difference between the beef burger and the meat-free one...but let us be the judge of that, Fernando.

I am honestly hoping & praying this is a good as the original because it's way healthier-- it’s got 15% less fat and 90% less cholesterol than a standard Whopper and ya know, summer is around the corner.

Unfortunately, Burger King has chosen to only roll this out in 59 St. Louis area locations right now (rude), with plans to bring it to all 7,200 Burger King locations nationwide if it’s a hit.

Don't let us down St. Louis, we want to try it!
