Walmart Holding A Baby Savings Day Sale This Weekend

  • Everything from cribs to car seats to pacifiers and more will be on sale starting Saturday morning at 10am for Walmart’s baby savings day sale
  • All 32 Maryland Walmart stores are participating with sales available both in person and online
  • The sale runs through next Thursday

Jussie Smollett’s Day In Court

  • Smollett surrendered to police yesterday morning and appeared in court where he was charged with a felony for filing a false police report which carries a punishment of up to 3 years in prison along with fines
  • The judge set his bond at $100,000 which he made, he also had to surrender his passport, and then he returned to the set of Empire where according to TMZ, he swore up & down to the cast he didn’t do this
  • During Smollett’s hearing, the prosecution presented ample evidence against him including text messages, payments to the brothers he hired for the attack and a motive
  • Smollett allegedly staged this entire attack to boost his career as he was unhappy with his $65,000 per episode salary

Michael Jackson's Estate Sues HBO Over Documentary

  • HBO plans to release their documentary "Leaving Neverland" next month which accuses Michael Jackson of sexually abusing children
  • His estate says HBO is in violation of a 1992 contract which they signed when they aired Michael Jackson in Concert in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour that states the network would not disparage the singer
  • His estate says this clause in the contract from 1992 also applies to future projects about the singer, including the "Leaving Neverland" documentary
  • HBO says they are moving forward in airing it despite the lawsuit
  • The 2 part documentary airs March 3rd & 4th

 

Netflix Adding Over 60 Pieces of Original Content Next Month

  • Netflix is planning to add over 60 original TV shows and movies to their library next month
  • They've also renewed "The Haunting of Hill House" as an anthology-- next one up is The Haunting of Bly House
