Heineken recently released a 30 second commercial promoting it's lighter beer and the commercial has come under widespread criticism for it's "lighter is better" slogan.

Heineken has since pulled the ad from its YouTube page due to the high volume of complaints and a spokesperson for the company has said, "For decades, Heineken has developed diverse marketing that shows there’s more that unites us than divides us. While we feel the ad is referencing our Heineken Light beer – we missed the mark, are taking the feedback to heart and will use this to influence future campaigns."
