“Bottomless Brunches” seem to have become quite the thing in the San Francisco area, but now those who can’t handle their alcohol have to pay a little extra. For a set fee, brunch fans are given “endless’ amounts of mimosas and Bloody Marys to ingest. With that, however, comes some occasional nasty side effects. To combat this, some “Bottomless Brunch” eateries, including the Home Plate, have taken a page from Uber and Lyft, and are now charging “puking fines.” Those customers who “lose their brunch” are now required to pay an additional $50 fee for clean up and the disgusted inconvenience of the staff that has to deal with the mess.
