Everyone’s talking about the potential new romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, but it seems one married couple may have predicted this pairing years ago. A resurfaced Instagram post from Makayla Stephens shows her and her husband Nick dressed up as the singer and the NFL star for Halloween back in 2020.
The photo shows Makayla wearing jeans, a pink sweater and a pink glitter heart around her eye, which seems to be inspired by Taylor’s “Lover” album cover. Her hubby, Nick, is seen sporting Kelce’s number 87 Chiefs jersey, with eye black under his eyes. But the best part is the post’s caption: “I don’t know any world in which Taylor Swift + Travis Kelce would be in the same room together, but apparently in this one they’re married? #HappyHalloween.”
The post was shared on October 31st, 2020, but it was shared again this week on X, and Swifties and social media users are loving it. Commenters are calling Makayla a “mastermind” and asking her to “pick my Powerball numbers,” and one writes, “Dang they're so far ahead of things. They probably had covid in 2017.”
