In Wiltshire, England, a teenager named Ben Thornbury was fed up with his town's pothole problem, so he created a "crazy pothole golf" course, using small cones, allowing others to putt golf balls into the potholes. Around 20 people showed up to play the course -- which also got the attention of the city council. Thanks to Thornbury's makeshift golf course -- and all the crappy publicity it caused -- the city council awarded the town millions of dollars to finally get the potholes fixed.
