A new study has revealed that you can cut down on your risk of Alzheimer's disease by almost 50% by eating oily fish such as salmon or mackerel.
People with high levels of omega-3 DHA in their blood were at a much lower risk of developing the brain condition.
“Delaying Alzheimer’s disease by five years leads to 2.7 additional years of life, and 4.8 additional Alzheimer-free years for an individual who would have acquired Alzheimer’s." said Study author Dr. Aleix Sala-Vila.
