Deals for Teachers for Back to School

It's already almost time to go back to school (I know, I know, it feels like summer JUST started right!?) - for parents and teachers alike that can mean a lot of back to school expenses, but luckily, some major stores have big savings for teachers specifically.

Get the details on those deals below!

Target:

At Target, teachers can get a one-time 15% discount on select classroom supplies and essentials. Just make sure to act quick - the deal lasts only through July 31st. In order to be eligible, teachers will need to sign up for Target Circle and verify their teacher status. But it's definitely worth it to get that discount!

All K-12 teachers, homeschool teachers, teachers working at daycare centers and early childhood learning centers, university or college professors and vocational/trade/technical school teachers are eligible.

Staples:

Across the country, teachers and school administrators can get 20% off select purchases now through Sept. 30 at Staples stores. So you definitely have more time with this one to get yourself settled in the classroom.

What's cool, is that parents can also help support teachers through Staples' Classroom Rewards program. The program actually gives a percentage of their qualifying purchase made at a Staples store back to an enrolled teacher or school administrator of their choice.

Dollar General:

There are also discounts into September at Dollar General - the store has a new teacher discount with 30% off qualifying, in-store purchases of back-to-school and stationery items.

Purchases that qualify include pens, pencils, markers, crayons, paper, notebooks, scissors, binders, folders, glue, rulers, backpacks and lunch kits.

Similar to Target, teachers need to sign in or create a Dollar General account and then can register and complete the educator verification process atDollarGeneral.com.

If you're a teacher, make sure you take advantage of these deals!! And good luck with a brand new school year - here's hoping it is a LOT more normal than the last two.
