New Kenny Album brings a New stream for his fans!!!

Kenny Chesney's brand-new album,Here and Now, is due out Friday, May 1. To celebrate, the country star will have a live stream event with the help of No Shoes Nation.

According to a press release, Chesney will be doing the live stream for about 30 minutes with minimal help due to social distancing. To make the most of the time, Chesney has asked that fans submit any questions they have for him ahead of time. All questions posted on his social media will be sorted through by his team who will then choose the most popular questions for the live event.

"I’m used to having the whole crew," Chesney admits, adding, "so, this could be a little ‘let’s see how we do this...’ But we’re gonna play some songs, answer some questions, hopefully have some fun – and kick this album off the way that means the most to me: with No Shoes Nation in No Shoes Nation!"

He adds, "I always tell people No Shoes Nation is a country without borders, where everyone’s welcome. With Here And Now, we’re taking that idea into a whole other dimension. So, come on! This album’s a whole lot of people, places, moments we’ve all been, lived and understand. Let’s get together and kick this album off right."

Chesney's live event will stream across all of Chesney's platforms and on KennyChesney.com. Fans can tune in to watch at 6 p.m. CT on May 1, the same day Here And Now drops.

Chesney has already shared several new songs from his album including "Knowing You," "Guys Named Captain," "Tip Of My Tongue," "We Do," and the title track "Here and Now." The new project marks the country singer's 19th studio album, following up 2018's Songs For The Saints.

Chesney's"Chillaxification Tour,"in support of the new album, has been due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Originally the tour was scheduled to begin on April 18, but has been pushed back to May 20. At this time, seven stadiums and four amphitheater shows have been rescheduled.

"Nobody wants to get out there for these shows more than I do," Chesney said in a statement. "We’ve started rehearsals; everything is loaded in – and the band sounds great. Music is medicine when your soul or your heart need healing, but I don’t want my music to put anyone at risk."

Stay tuned for updates on the "Chillaxification Tour." Further details about the tour can be see at KennyChesney.com.
