A mans beard has more germs than a dog???

If you're growing a hockey playoff beard you may want to reconsider for your own health.

A study done in Switzerland's Hirslanden Clinic found' a significantly higher bacterial load in specimens taken from the men's beards compared to the dog's fur'.

Woof. Ew.

Some of the men tested positive for microbes that pose a threat to human health! But one could argue we have germs all over us whether we have a beard or not. Does this make you not want to snuggle with a guy with a beard?
