Japanese researchers found that a chemical used in cooking McDonald's french fries can actually reverse baldness. Professor Junji Fukuda says that they have found that the chemical dimethylpolysiloxane (DMPS), which is used to cook french fries, has healing properties.
The chemical reduces splatter in the oil use to cook the fries and its also used in Silly Putty, caulking, breast implants, and makeup. Feel good about eating caulk? Yikes!
The researchers say that it won't grow your hair back on its own though, so don't start taking showers with french fries!
