6 year old writes a letter to lego land for a job!

letter

You normally don't hear back if you're not qualified for a job.  But this kid is going places . . . in another couple decades.

There's a Legoland theme park near London (I didn't know that) that recently posted about a job opening for a part-time model builder.  And one of the people who applied was a SIX-YEAR-OLD named Stanley Bolland.

He sent them a handwritten letter that said, quote, "Dear Sir [or] Madam.  I am 6 years old, and I love Lego.  [I] have a box of it.  I hide my Lego, so my brother can't get it.  I am the man for the job, because I have lots of EXPERIENCE.  Love, Stanley."

(If you're wondering why he wrote "Lego" instead of "Legos," that's the plural form most people use in the U.K.  And according to the company, "Legos" is WRONG.  They prefer "Lego bricks.")

Anyway, someone at Legoland wrote back to him and said he'll be perfect for the job once he finishes school!

They ended up bringing him in for a tour of the park, and they let him shadow one of the builders while they walked around doing repairs. They also say they're going to hang onto his application, and check back with him when he's a little older.

Awesome work, Lego peeps!
