Dolly Parton is teaming up with four powerhouse artists on a new rendition of a ballad she released in the late 1970s.

The legendary country star is collaborating with reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, goddaughter Miley Cyrus, powerhouse vocalist Queen Latifah and beloved country artist Reba McEntire. The group will deliver a new version of Parton’s “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.” She initially released the powerful, hopeful on her studio album New Harvest…First Gathering in 1977.

“'Cause I can see the light of a clear blue morning/ I can see the light of a brand new day/ I can see the light of a clear blue morning/ Oh, and everything's gonna be all right/ It's gonna be okay”

Parton, who recently hinted at this announcement on the horizon, also confirmed on Tuesday morning (January 13) that proceeds from the new “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” recording and music video will benefit pediatric cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. The collaboration is due to arrive on Friday (January 16).

The new rendition of “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” will make its debut one day before the Grand Ole Opry’s fourth annual Opry Goes Dolly celebration in honor of Parton’s 80th birthday on January 19. The show is set for Saturday (January 17) at the historic venue in Nashville. Wilson is part of the lineup, in addition to Vince GillRhonda Vincent and songwriter Trannie Anderson, who will make her Opry debut. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.

“Well hey there, Grand Ole Opry family!” Parton, an Opry member since 1969, said in a recorded message when the Opry announced details for the show. “I just wanted to say how much it means to me that you’re all coming together again this year to celebrate my big ol’ birthday with some of my songs. Some of my favorite memories happened right here on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. And I wish I could be there in person, but I’ll be sending you all my love for sure. So, you have the best night ever.”
