If you were asked for your thoughts on the best and worst behaved dog breeds, would the worst-behaved be YOUR dog...or whatever breed the neighbor's dog is?
IMO- a dog's behavior is depends on the owner. How much training they put in, what they let their dog get away with and if they're being consistent. That being said, there are certain things my guy, B, does that I let slide...
Forbes surveyed 5,000 dog owners, 200 owners of each of the 25 most popular dog breeds, according to the American Kennel Club.
The goal was to come up with a ranking of the best and worst behaved breeds.
In addition to general behavior, they asked about:
*Listening to commands
*Jumping on people
*Barking
*Begging for food
*Trying to escape
In the end, the MOST behaved dog breed was the Labrador Retriever.
Rottweiler was second, followed by...
*Shih Tzu
*Cane Corso
*Golden Retriever
*German Shepherd
*Boston Terrier
*Poodle
*Yorkshire Terrier
*Bulldog.
The LEAST-behaved breed was Siberian Husky.

*Havanese
*French Bulldog
