Some of your favorite country stars and actors have come together for a new scripted podcast called "Make It Up As We Go" presented by Unilever's Knorr and Magnum Brand.

Created by Audio Up CEO Jared Gutstadt and actor/songwriter Scarlett Burke, the eight-part podcast features Miranda Lambert as a feature cast member and executive producer, alongside roles played by Bobby Bones, Dennis Quaid, Billy Bob Thornton, Lindsay Ell and Craig Robinson, with original music from Ell, Lambert, Burke and Nicolle Galyon. In fact, Ell recently shared her song "Workin' Out" from the podcast's soundtrack.

"Make It Up As We Go" follows the story of aspiring singer/songwriter Charlotte's journey to make her dreams come true in the music industry. According to the podcast's description, "'Make It Up As We Go' follows the story of an aspiring young songwriter, played by Scarlett Burke, and her pursuits to make a name for herself in the music industry. Encountering a number of characters along the way, including legendary Nashville producer Van Tyler (played by Billy Bob Thornton), and the voice of country radio, Bobby Bones (playing himself). 'Make It Up As We Go' unravels Charlotte’s own personal journey navigating the writer rooms of Nashville, which is where the stories are told, songs are born, and in turn - finding her own voice along the way."

The podcast has officially launched with the first two episodes. In episode one, titled "My Dove," we learn about Charlotte and her backstory, and how she and her guitar player boyfriend get discovered by a Nashville producer in Amarillo, Texas after hearing their original song, "My Dove." After being invited to Nashville to explore their songwriting abilities, Charlotte and her boyfriend end up in a writing session with well-known Nashville songwriter Marshall Tracy.

In episode two, "Poison," the episode gives a glimpse into the future as Charlotte is a guest on Bobby Bones' radio show, remembering her disastrous first Nashville writing session. Then, the episode picks up where the story left off: the aftermath of that writing session. After Charlotte begins to outshine her boyfriend Davis, she is faced with the decision to write without him or go back home to Texas. In a new writing session with an award-winning Nashville songwriter, Emily Turner, she works on a new song called "Poison."
