Each year, there are families in Baltimore who must make the decision between keeping their lights on or feeding their children. Faced with these two choices, the purchase of school supplies falls to a distant third (or fourth or fifth). However, something as simple as a pencil or paper or a backpack can make all the difference in a student’s preparedness to learn.
iHeartMedia Baltimore is proud to launch the Baltimore Supplies for Success Virtual School Supply Drive powered by the Law Office of Carlton J Moss in partnership with the Kids In Need Foundation and new Baltimore Ravens player, Calais Campbell, and his foundation to make this happen.
All donations will go towards providing teachers in Baltimore with Supply A Teacher boxes. Whether students are learning from home virtually or in a traditional setting, the need for supplies is greater than ever. Each box includes pencils, pencil pouches, folders, notebooks, sharpeners, erasers, rulers, and pens for 24 students, as well as additional items based on grade level, such as crayons and markers or highlighters and colored pencils are also included.
