Luke Bryan Postpones Show At Merriweather Post Pavilion

Luke Bryan is the latest country star to make summer adjustments due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Luke announced that he has postponed the first 8 shows of his Proud To Be Here Tour...and that includes his anticipated show at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The tour was supposed to come through Columbia, MD on June 20 and it has now been re-scheduled to August 30.

In addition, he has also postponed the release of his upcoming album Born Here Live Here Die Here. The album that was supposed to be released on April 24 will now become available on August 7.

"What an incredibly confusing and scary time our world is facing right now, and it is important we continue to follow the guidelines we have been given and do our part to keep everyone safe,' Luke said in his post where he announced the news. "With that in mind, we are choosing to stay home at this time so we can have fun sharing this music and tour with you this summer. I truly believe that music can provide forms of emotional connection for everyone and I can't wait to get out on the road and share these new songs with you soon. Love y'all."
