Panera Launches Unlimited Coffee Subscription Program

  • Yes, it’s really what it sounds like…unlimited hot or iced coffee every month for just $8.99
  • All cup sizes are included and time of day doesn't matter
  • Registration for the coffee subscription officially launches nationwide Thursday on the Panera app and website. Starting Monday, you can also sign up at Panera's nearly 2,200 locations using a QR code.

No iPhones For Bad Guys

  • Knives Out director Rian Johnson reveals that Apple won’t let the bad guys in movies use iPhones
  • The big-mouth filmmaker tells Vanity Fair, “Apple... they let you use iPhones in movies but — and this is very pivotal if you’re ever watching a mystery movie — bad guys cannot have iPhones on camera.”
  • Rian joked that he may have spoiled future mystery movies by giving up the trade secret, just look for the guy with an Android
  • According to MacRumors, the tech giant says its products should be used only “in the best light, in a manner or context that reflects favorably on the Apple products and on Apple Inc."

Bachelor For Seniors, Yes It’s Really Happening

  • Details about the new show are scarce, though we know by "senior citizens" we are talking age 65 and older
  • A notice on ABC's casting site reads: "Are you entering your golden years and looking for romance? The producers of The Bachelor are looking for active and outgoing single men and women in their golden years for a new exciting dating show!" A link to a sign-up form clarifies it is looking for people interested in "a committed relationship."

  • Dunkin’ Donuts is now offering a keto option in the form of bacon, Snackin’ Bacon
  • It’s literally 8 half strips of straight up bacon with a sweet black pepper seasoning that comes in an easy on the go pouch
  • Chipotle is replacing their highly contested queso today with a new recipe; their new queso blanco hits restaurants today
  • The new queso blanco is made with 13 real ingredients and had a successful test period in several cities
  • Starbucks is jumping on the beyond meat train….but only in Canada, for now
  • The sandwiches will include a Beyond Meat patty, cheddar cheese, and an egg on an artisan bun & presumably if it does well in Canada it should be heading our way soon!

Congrats to Kelly Clarkson, she’s returning to host the Billboard Music awards for the 3rd time this year, and Garth Brooks will be honored with the Icon Award. In addition to accepting the honor, Garth will perform at the ceremony, which will air April 29th on NBC, live from Las Vegas.`
