Maryland's love of Old Bay is no joke, and that was put to the test on Wednesday when McCormick's new Old Bay Hot Sauce went on sale.
The product sold out within an hour of being released to the public. Described as "tangy with a kick of heat and Old Bay’s unique blend of herbs and spices," prices ranged from $9.99-$12.99 depending on if you wanted a 3-pack of 5oz bottles, a 64oz bottle or a 3-pack of 10oz bottles.
Old Bay tweeted out they would be restocking online and soon enough will be in "Baltimore/Washington retail stores, for a limited time, like Acme, Giant, Food Lion, Martin’s, Safeway, Wegmans, Weis and more."
