Jimmie Allen is on top of the world these days, at least with his music career. He's already had two big Country hits with "Best Shot" and "Make Me Want To" and he's just been nominated for a prestigious iHeartradio Music Award for Best New Country Artist!
If only his hometown favorite football team could have played better for him this year. Growing up near Milton, Delaware, Jimmie has always rooted for the Philadelphia Eagles but this wasn't their year. Lots of injuries and too many hurdles to overcome, they lost in their Wild Card playoff game. Jimmie says "The Eagles let me down" but he has another team to cheer for in this post season. I offered him a chance to root on the Ravens seeing that Baltimore is probably as close to Milton, Delaware as Philly is but Jimmie wasn't having ANY of that. He told me, "Man, I live in Nashville and I'm friends with Ryan Tannehill so you know, I gotta Titan Up" (That's the Titan's fan battle cry, code for I don't want to throw someone under the bus who hooks me up for all the VIP jock hangs in Nashville! LOL
I understand Jimmie but YOU will understand after you watch the game this Saturday night. The Ravens have at least 10 reasons for being the favorite again this week as they go for their 13th consecutive win this season.
