Another year, another successful Bosom Buddy event!
2019 marked our 19th annual Bosom Buddy event pres. by Advanced Radiology and Bob Bell Automotive at Live! Casino & Hotel and we successfully raised $14,890 for The Red Devils, an organization based in Baltimore whose mission is to fund services that improve the quality of life for breast cancer patients and their families.
Francesca and Bob Delmont hosted this year's event as Laurie DeYoung was unfortunatleyFrancesca and Bob Delmont hosted our brunch as Laurie DeYoung was unfortunately sick and unable to attend this year. The morning kicked off with a Pre-Party where guests were treated to cocktails, hor d'ourves and a meet and greet with this year's performer, LANCO!
Following the Pre-Party, we met the rest of our attendees at the main event center and were treated to a stacked brunch with prime rib, pancakes, hash browns and more!
Once our program began, Dr. Stacey J. Keen MD, FACR from Advanced Radiology spoke to our guests about the importance of breast cancer awareness and getting checked out and then Paige N. Koerner, Community Outreach Specialist from The Red Devils shared her story and informed us about the work that The Red Devils does for families in Baltimore.
Following our guest speakers, it was time for LANCO to hit the stage! They performed hits like "Greatest Love Story" and "Born To Love You" and also gave us an exclusive listen to some of their new music! Check out clips and photos from their performance!
Once LANCO finished their set, they autographed a guitar on stage and we held a live auction with our audience! Bob Delmont led the auction (we're convinced he might have been an auctioneer in his previous life) and Francesca gave us her best Vanna White impression showcasing the signed guitar. After a bidding war arose between three people, the guitar ultimately ended up selling for $2,700!
We closed out our event by presenting $14,890 to The Red Devils and by hosting a raffle for signed artist memorabilia. Thank you to everyone who came out and contributed to making our annual Bosom Buddy event a success!
