Maryland Mom & Son Who Went Viral Invited Up On Stage with Kelly Clarkson

Remember this mother-son duo that went viral at a University of Maryland game for the mom's A+ lip-singing of Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" last December?! Well it turns out that they made a memorable impression on Kelly Clarkson herself!

When Clarkson brought her Meaning Of Live Tour to Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD on Saturday, March 16, she did a segment called "Minute + A Wine Glass" in the middle of her show and brought out Mandy and Blake Remmell to the crowd's surprise! Clarkson introduced them with the famed video of Mandy embarrassing Blake to the point where he hid his face in his hoodie with added commentary of "I love her" and "it's not that we [parents] love embarrassing our kids, you just love building character." 😂 She streamed the entire segment on Facebook Live and it is right around the 11 minute mark that they are brought up!

In preparation for her upcoming talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show, which is set to air this fall, Clarkson had an impromptu interview session with the Remmell family asking pressing questions like "Do you always break out in 'Since U Been Gone'" and "does [your mom] do this to you often?"

But that wasn't all the Grammy award winning singer had in store for them! She surprised Blake with an autographed basketball from his favorite player, LeBron James and found out that Mandy is learning how to play guitar, so she shocked her with a $1,000 gift certificate that she could put towards it!
