Following the news that fan-favorites LB Terrell Suggs, S Eric Weddle and LB C.J. Mosley were all leaving the Baltimore Ravens during free agency, Charm City went into a frenzy of "what do we do?!"
Well the team has responded.
The Ravens have added 6x Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas to their defense on a four-year, $55 million contract and 2x Pro Bowl running back Mark Ingram to the O on a three-year, $15 million dollar deal.
As Fox Sports: NFL tweeted above, this is the beginning of a new era.
Thomas has spent the entirety of his nine seasons in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks and according to ESPN.com, his "28 interceptions rank third among all players since 2010, when he was drafted with the 14th overall pick out of Texas." As for Ingram, the former New Orleans Saint racked up 1,000+ yards in both the 2016 and 2017 seasons and was the team's leading rusher from 2014-2017.
