After 16 years in Baltimore, LB Terrell Suggs is reportedly heading to the Arizona Cardinals.
NFL Insider Ian Rapoport was among the first to report that the fan-favorite would be heading back home to where his football career took off. Suggs was a high school athlete at Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ and spent his collegiate years playing for Arizona State where he was a unanimous first-team All-American during his junior year.
Drafted by Baltimore as the 10th overall pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, Suggs has spent his entire professional career thus far in Charm City and it is fair to say that he has left his mark. The 7x Pro-Bowler is the Ravens' franchise leader in sacks (132.5), tackles for loss (193), quarterback hits (191) in addition to having 601 solo tackles (2nd in Ravens' franchise history to Ray Lewis) according to Pro Football Reference.
Suggs' was the last remaining defensive starter from the Super Bowl XLVII team according to NFL.com.
