2018 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – Baltimore

ZERO is proud to partner with Chesapeake Urology Associates, iHEARTMEDIA and others to end prostate cancer.  The 2018 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Baltimore features a 10K run, 5K run/walk, 1 mile walk, Kids' Superhero Dash for Dad, organized Zumba workout, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Stick around for the family-friendly post-race celebration. Participants will receive tee shirts, free food, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer.

The funds raised from ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Baltimore are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer. Locally, over the past ten years, we have raised over $3,500,000, for prostate cancer research, education, free screenings for early detection, and advocacy.

THIS YEAR, IT’S PERSONAL!

Dr. Sandy Siegel of Chesapeake Urology is the founder of this wonderful annual event.  So it was even more poignant when earlier this year, Dr. Siegel was diagnosed with prostate cancer himself. "As a doctor I’ve dedicated my professional life to treating prostate cancer, educating others on early screenings and offering hope for a cure.  I never thought this disease would strike me personally – Until it did!!  This serious disease can strike any man. When it does its emotional for the man, his family, his friends and co-workers. Each year thousands will hear the words “you have prostate cancer."
