Multiple news sources are reporting that a detective has been shot in the head in West Baltimore on the 900 block of Bennett Place, a location with a reputation of several fatalities over the years.
The shooting reportedly happened at approx. 4:30PM and while the identity of the detective remains anonymous, Baltimore Police Commissioner, Kevin Davis and Mayor Catherine Pugh are on-site at Shock Trauma visiting the victim.
