It was announced on Thursday night that Carrie Underwood among others will be inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame's class of 2018. Carrie is the only country artist on the list but she is among other great talents of the industry, such as Mary J. Blige, Simon Cowell and Lin Manuel Miranda.
Carrie skyrocketed to fame after winning season 4 of American Idol in 2005 and has gone on to become the show's most successful contestant, selling more than 65 million albums world wide (as recorded in 2015) and has collected 7 Grammy awards.
