This incident actually happened on April 23 but was posted on YouTube on May 3 and now Delta is saying sorry for kicking a family with two young children off a flight after the customers already boarded. The man bought seats for his family and booked one under his older son who took an earlier flight. They wanted to use that seat for their infant son in a car seat so he was comfortable.
The rest of the family were escorted of the flight and flew on a later flight with a different airline. Delta wanted to use that flight for standby passengers. Delta had this to say
"We are sorry for the unfortunate experience our customers had with Delta, and we've reached out to them to refund their travel and provide additional compensation," the airline said in a statement issued Thursday. "Delta's goal is to always work with customers in an attempt to find solutions to their travel issues. That did not happen in this case and we apologize."
