It's always great to see some country representation on SNL. Chris Stapleton got the spotlight this past weekend (4/13). He performed the usual two songs, but also jumped into a sketch as well.
Chris did 'White Horse' and 'Mountains Of My Mind' as his performance songs. He also was invited to join the cast for a sketch. It was called 'Get That Boy Back.' The whole skit parodied how female country singers tend to want to get back at their exes. But one of them went a little too far. Chris played one of the exes. I thought it was fun to watch Chris in that kind of role because he always seems so serious and stoic. I love that he got to have some fun.
