What we do know is that the Key Bridge was struck by a container ship at about 1:35am this morning. Almost instantly the bridge came down.
Rescue crews are on the scene of a major disaster in Baltimore after a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge. A massive collapse followed as the ship then caught fire and sank. A number of vehicles are reported to have fallen into the water, while there's been no word yet on deaths or injuries. The incident is being treated as a mass casualty event.
