How much does a two-foot tall artificial Christmas tree cost? $30, maybe $50? How about more than $4000? That's what one British man recently paid for a two-and-a-half foot tall artificial Christmas tree, and he had to outbid others to get it. And even crazier, it's an old tree. A very old tree. Hansons Auctioneers described it as the "humblest Christmas tree in the world." In fact, it is 103 years old and happens to be one of the first mass-produced artificial Christmas trees ever sold. It was originally purchased by a family in 1920 at Woolworth's in London and remained in the family until now. The modest-looking tree features 25 branches, 12 berries and six mini candle holders.
