Stephanie Archer-Smith, MS. Is a seasoned professional with 35 years of experience working with vulnerable populations throughout the life cycle in private, public and non-for-profit human service organizations. She holds a BS degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Psychology, and a Masters of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore. Throughout her career, Stephanie has blended strategic thought leadership, business acumen and interpersonal skills, to further organization vision, growth and effectiveness. She has created sustainable funding models, built strong and enduring community relationships and developed innovative services and programs, ensuring quality, sound ethical practices, and fiscal responsibility.

Stephanie’s select experience and accomplishments have garnered many awards for innovative services including the Loyola University Partnership Award, and awards from the State of Maryland for Victims of Crime (VOCA) and Violence Against Women (VAWA) support programs, as well as the NOLA award in Montgomery County, and the new vendor award of excellence from Prince Georges County.

Stephanie has served on the Board of Directors for Baltimore Homeless Services, and was a contributing author to The Journey Home, Baltimore’s 10 year plan to end homelessness. She has also served on the Board Personnel Committee for GEDCO, was a member of the Board and fundraising committee for Operation Smile, Baltimore Chapter, and served her community association for 4 years as vice president and president where she received the PLANT award for community greening efforts and was recognized by Delegate Pete Hammen for her contributions to the Baltimore-Linwood community.

Most recently, Stephanie was named one of Maryland’s top 100 women by The Daily Record.
