We've all used the extremely happy voice to trick our pups into going to the vet... turns out they can see right through that fake facade because they understand the words we say.
Researchers monitored dog's brain activity and found out they process the meaning of words similarly to the way humans do.
Basically this means your dog knows you've been lying to them. So give your pup some extra snuggles and treats, they deserve it.
