The Chicks are apologizing to fans in Indianapolis after they cut their concert short.
Their show at Ruoff Music Center on Sunday night (June 19) lasted less than a half hour before the band walked off stage.
“Indianapolis, we are so sorry we could not give you the show you deserved,” they shared on social media. “OR the show we wanted to give you. We will be back Indianapolis!! Hold onto your tickets.”
A day after their statement was posted, the band shared that due to "strict doctor's orders for vocal rest," The Chicks would be postponing their shows in Noblesville, IN, Cincinnati, OH and Clarkstown, MI.
Fans speculate that lead singer Natalie Maines was experiencing vocal issues due to allergies.
