A substitute teacher in Austin, Texas was kicked out of a high school class after he sang Britney Spears' "Toxic" on a karaoke machine.
Students captured the 1st period performance on video and shared it all over social media. The amateur singer, who is a registered substitute, brought the karaoke machine -- which included flashing lights -- to class and just started singing. And while he doesn't sound too bad, the school said he “wasn’t following [the district’s] best practices,” so he was asked to leave. A spokesperson for Austin's Independent School District says, "I’ve heard worse Britney Spears covers, but the lights are a bit much."
The Britney performance got him thrown out of class, but he didn't lose his job and was actually assigned to a classroom in another high school later in the day.
