Last week I celebrated my 36th anniversary at WPOC. My first day was Sunday Sept 29th in 1985. I did a week-end shift to get comfortable in the studio for the start of a new show the next day. I didn’t know much about Baltimore or country music then, but now I can say I’ve lived here for most of my life and stayed in the country format longer than any other. Both have been kind to me. This is the earliest promo photo I could find. Those little dots were in the picture, it’s not dust. I am overwhelmed with gratitude just thinking back over all these years. And no, this is not good-bye, just a good feeling I wanted to pass along. I hope it will remind you to reflect on all the good things you have to celebrate.@wpoc
