This was such an awesome moment at the Olympic games, and it will go down in history.
Russian cross-country skier Anton Gafarov was competing in the EVENT when he took a fall that damaged his skis. He tried to get up and continue the race, despite the fact that he knew he could not possibly earn a medal... He just wanted to finish!
Unfortunately, his ski was so badly damaged that it began to fall apart!
But the Canadian cross-country coach Justin Wadsworth witnessed the event and ran to the rescue! He ran onto the track with a new ski for Anton.
