For a lot of women, there is an emotional attachment to their wedding gown that can make it difficult to part with. But what if you knew your dress was being used to help others?
There is a non-profit group called NICU [Neonatal Intensive Care Unit] Helping Hands that collects wedding gowns, then has volunteer seamstresses turn them into "Angel Gowns." An "Angel Gown" is a small gown made for a baby who passed away in the NICU.
Donating your dress to the organization will make a beautiful garment for a child... and will help out grieving families who are forced to search for something to bury their child in.
