Two junior enlisted corpsmen at Naval Hospital Jacksonville posted disturbing photos and videos to Snapchat of their behavior while caring for newborns at the hospital.
The hospital was made aware of the photos and videos after someone who saw them took screenshots and shared them publicly.
Naval Hospital Jacksonville's Commanding Officer released a statement, saying:
We are aware of a video / photos posted online. It's outrageous, unacceptable, incredibly unprofessional, and cannot be tolerated. We have identified those involved-- two junior enlisted corpsmen (not nurses). They have been removed from providing patient care and they will be handled by the legal system and military justice. We've notified the patient's parents.
