Hey Friends! My name’s Pacquiao - that’s pronounced pak-ee-ow like the boxer! I'm a fit, 4-year-old, American Bulldog mix. Back in the beginning of December, a kind man found me running in the road and brought me here, to the Maryland SPCA. During my stay here, I have spent a lot of time with the training and behavior staff and have brushed-up on my manners! When I first arrived, I didn’t know how to sit or walk on a leash and now, I’m a pro! I’m very treat-motivated which helps in my training efforts. If you’re interested in adding me to your family, please come meet me at the Maryland SPCA! I’ll be looking forward to seeing you! To meet me, please contact the Maryland SPCA’s Foster Coordinator, Kaitlyn Thomas at kthomas@mdspca.org to set up an appointment.

Baltimore 500 Joint Kickoff Party: To save lives and find homes for hundreds of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in the community, the Baltimore Animal Welfare Alliance (BAWA) will be holding its eighth annual Baltimore 500: A Race to Save Lives adoption promotion. During the month of June, national Adopt-A-Cat month, Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), Baltimore Humane Society, and the Maryland SPCA—all members of BAWA—will waive their adoption fees for cats and kittens.

**And new this year, Baltimore County Animals Services will be participating in the Baltimore 500 as a BAWA member, and for the first time, the Humane Society of Harford County will also be participating in the month-long adoption promotion.
